Design Challenge: Couplings
In this design challenge I worked in a product design team to create a solution to a chosen problem. This design challenge gave me the opportunity to apply all of my IED skills and knowledge. We utilize all steps of a design process to find a solution that meets specific design requirements
Coupler Design Breif
Client Company: Raymond Levy
Target Consumer: Engineer Teachers, Young Children (ages 2-5)
Designer: Max Pagliari and Mike Troise
Problem Statement: Reymond Levy asked us to take their design for their coupler, from paper, and make 3D CAD models and then assemble it.
Design Statement: Reverse engineer a wooden toy using Autodesk Inventor.
Constraints:
1. Must have all parts able to be recreated on inventor
2. Must have a set of instructions that come in the box so people could assembly it
3. Must have extra peice for replacement of lost, old, or damaged parts
4. Must be able to be able to be assembled and unassembled

Identify the Problem
Reverse engineer a wooden toy using autodesk invertor.
Other Options
Raymond Levy gave us a few options for toys that we could model. After looking through our options we chose the coupler based on a decision matrix shown below.
